01 Mar Vitamin C boosting smoothie
When the February blahs roll in, try this vitamin C boosting smoothie to strengthen your immune system.
-juice of one grapefruit (I actually used the whole wedges with the skins removed, but this takes a bit of time)
-1 TBSP goji berries
-1 cup kefir
-1/2 tsp vanilla powder
-1 TBSP raw unpasteurized honey
-1 TBSP coconut oil
Add all to your blender and ENJOY!
The grapefruit and gojis will give you a nice dose of vitamin C, while the raw honey provides natural anti-bacterial properties. Finally the kefir provides a dose of healthy probiotics to strengthen the gut.
