Lisa Baptie

BSc. PT, RYT 200, Hiking Leader Instructor OCC, WFA

Lisa Baptie has worked in the field of health and wellness for 20 years, first as a physiotherapist and then as a yoga instructor.
The idea of wellness was altered for her when she began to spend time outside with her 2 young children. Lisa’s kids were the catalyst for rediscovering nature and all that it had to offer. The inner peace gained through nature connection is a cornerstone of true wellness.
With little kids in tow, Lisa realized it was impossible to get anywhere fast, so she began to slow down, and see the wonders of nature through the lens of a child. The more quietly they sat and watched, the more there was to see. Lisa’s curiosity about the natural world had been rekindled and that flame has continued to grow through study and time spent outside.
Lisa has been working in the realm of nature connection for the last 3 years and it has been filled with infinite discoveries. Through wildcrafting, sensory awareness, play, navigation, survival techniques, quiet observation and gentle guidance, Lisa reconnects those around her to nature.

She hopes to help others find their own inner peace, a way of being that occurs when we move through the natural world in the ways we were meant to.
